Just a short distance from Durham city centre and university, Ernest Place is a stunning 380-bed student accommodation building complete with en-suite rooms, on-site cinema, fitness studio and sauna. The project was completed in September 2017 and encapsulates the premium end of the student living experience with its state-of-the-art facilities and sleek aesthetic.
Oakwood was contracted by the team at Bowmer + Kirkland to carry out the supply and installation of kitchen and bedroom FF&E, including high-spec finishes such as Corian worktops and integrated appliances. This was Oakwood’s first project with Bowmer + Kirkland, followed by the King’s Stables Road mixed use development in Edinburgh in 2019.
